Prof Alex Siow

​Alex is currently Professor (Practice) at the Department of Information Systems and Analytics of the School of Computing, National University of Singapore.

Before joining NUS, Alex was a Civil/Structural Engineer at the Housing & Development Board, Singapore. He then joined StarHub Ltd as a Senior Vice President, then he became the Managing Director, Health & Public Service in Accenture.

Currently, Alex is Chairman of Toffs Technologies Ltd, Executive Chairman of DART Consulting and Training Pte Ltd, independent director of Tee International Ltd, member of the Board of Trustees of the Singapore University of Social Sciences. He is also a director of 4P Consulting Pte Ltd and Red Alpha Cybersecurity Pte Ltd.

Alex currently advises Nityo Infotech, Alibaba Cloud, U3 Infotech, ChiefDX, ARD Security, Beyond Rentals and KiteSense.

In the IT industry, Alex was the President of Singapore Computer Society, the IT Management Association, the Project Management Institute (Singapore Chapter) and currently, he is Chairman of the Cloud Security Alliance (Singapore Chapter)

Alex frequently gives talks and presentations on Digital Leadership and Transformation, Emerging Technology Management, IT Strategy and Governance, Cloud security and deployment, and Project Management.

​Alex has just been inducted as an Academic Fellow of the International Council of Management Consulting Institutes.
