She has produced numerous interviews with key policy makers such as Prime Minister Shinzo Abe, Bank of Japan governor Haruhiko Kuroda.
On 2010, Yamamoto served as project manager for the launch of Nikkei Online, the most successful digital subscription news media in Japan.
As a former New York Correspondent for TV Tokyo(1998-2001), she produced interviews with Jack Welch, then CEO of GE, Steve Ballmer, then CEO of Microsoft, Larry Ellison, CEO of Oracle. She also covered the recount of the Presidential election 2000, reported from the debris of World Trade Center on 9.11.2001.
